Climate Action Fund
FUND SPECIFIC THEORY OF CHANGE

adaptation to climate change

Investment in renewable energy generation
THE ISSUE BEHIND CLIMATE CHANGE
The level of CO2 on our planet is rapidly increasing, primarily fueled by human economic activities such as energy, agriculture, transportation, and industrial processes. This has triggered an increase in frequency and intensity of daily temperature extremes on the global scale, affecting precipitation, sea-level rise and extreme weather events. These disruptions are causing exponential harm on our human systems, economic systems and ecological systems, systems that have not had the time to evolve and adapt against such change.
OUR VISION FOR THE FUND
Global cooperation from companies, governments, institutions, and individuals in changing practices to achieving a low carbon economy.
Systems at Risk
Energy Supply and Demand, Water Supply and Demand, Forestation, Agriculture and Crop Production, Housing, Nutrition, Public Health, Health Care Systems, Transport Infrastructure, Life underwater and on Earth, Biodiversity, Tourism.
To mitigate the effects of climate change, it is necessary to assess both the climate risks and opportunities that translate into a carbon-resilient economy.
The Mission of the fund
We aim to ramp up investments into bold climate action solutions that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, facilitate responsible energy production and consumption, and enable effective adaptation of current systems for an equally sustainable future for all on earth.
